You would never guess that a content creator would willingly delete their social media, but I did just that. Around November 2015, I decided to delete all of my social media and I decided today I want to share my experience with you.
I created a video about this two years ago, here’s the link.
So this was the most eye opening experience I’ve ever had. I’ve realized that there is so much more to live than your phone. As a mention in my video, it seems like a pretty face gets more likes than an inspirational post.
I’ve realized there’s so much more to life then aimlessly scrolling through your phone. I’ve realized that so many people think “If I didn’t post about it did it really happened?” when that’s no where close to true. It’s so much better to live in the moment.
Don’t get me wrong social media is fun and entertaining, but everyone needs a break. I’ve re downloaded social media but that’s only because I’m trying to build my brand. I don’t spend a lot of time on it, only to get done what needs to be done!
If you enjoyed my post don’t forget to check out the rest of my blog, especially under the Be Happy section, and leave a few likes! Also, make sure you check out my video version of this post here and my two year update here and leave a comment on how Apple Core Cor brought you there!
Be Happy.
