When I first started my job two years ago I remember asking “Why would you stock for morning crew if they don’t stalk for you?” and my manager responded saying “Because it’s the right thing to do.” I’ve learned a lot for my job but this is something that will stick with me for a while.

Why would you do something for someone who wouldn’t do the same for you. Because that’s love.

You also should’t have expectations from people. You should next reply on someone to do something or just plain think they’ll do it. Because that’s how feelings get hurt and how things do not get done.

So in the end why do it? Because it’s the right thing to do. Even when people aren’t watching. It’s out of respect. It’s part of your job. It forms your character. It motivates people.
